Callum McKenzie-Milne, BA

I have been a keen and active photographer for many years without ever having specialised in any one area. I have sold a great deal of my work privately mostly by word of mouth and have undertaken several commissions for private individuals. I have exhibited locally and my work is also for sale through some select retail outlets throughout Scotland .

I enjoy all aspects of photography from setting the picture through to final production and feel that my enthusiasm for the subject is well reflected in my work.
I believe my work reflects the passion I have for my homeland, the mountains, the countryside, the lochs, rivers and the sea. I take great pride in every photograph I take and feel that every one is totally unique. Many of the pictures are of my own very special places and I hope that you will also appreciate their beauty through my work.
I have been encouraged by many admirers of my work to establish website to enable my work to be appreciated by a much wider audience and have taken almost as much pleasure in its creation as I have in taking the individual photographs you can find in each of the galleries
So come with me and take a tour around some of the places which make Scotland unique and its people proud.
Visit Scottish Lochs, some well known and some not so well known all equally dramatic in their own unique way. They illustrate not only Scotland's beauty but also the colourful history of Scotland from the majestic Loch Maree once a Viking stronghold and where Viking graves can still be viewed on Isla Maree to the tragic Fairy Lochs where 15 American servicemen tragically lost their lives when their U.S.A.A.F. Liberator crashed whilst returning to America at the end of the Second World War and to Loch Leven with its castle on an island stronghold where Mary Queen of Scots was once held prisoner.
The special effects gallery, where I have probably had the most fun putting the photographs together. Some effects here were introduced during the composition of the picture and others applied at a later stage. Here you can view different takes on Flowerdale House, Gairloch the ancient seat of Clan MacKenzie, The Torridons in Wester Ross, The Tay, Quarymill Woodland Walk near to Scone Palace and Duplin Forest to name but a few.
At your leisure browse through a selection of dramatic Scottish sunsets taken at a variety of locations throughout the land. The West Coast of Scotland is widely acknowledged as home to some of the most spectacular sunsets in the world and this is reflected here with images from Gairloch, The Minch near Melvaig and Applecross where the Cuilins of Skye can provide a dramatic backdrop, other locations include the forest at Bruar and Strathbraan in Perthshire.
Take your time to view panoramic style views of some of the most picturesque scenes of Scotland . This gallery includes panoramic shots at different angles. Featured here are views of the tragic Fairy Lochs near Badachro, Wester Ross, the Rivers Tay, Braan and Almond and some beautiful Scottish beaches including Gairloch and Firemore.
In the gallery of seascapes you will find selection of views from around the coast of Scotland . These include some of the most dramatic beaches and coves anywhere. From Scotland 's north coast there are views taken near Tongue and Balnakeil Beach near to Durness, together with views from Scourie and Drumbeg in Sutherland. Dalmore Beach on the Isle of Lewis together with further images of Inverasdale, Mellon Udrigle and Redpoint in Wester Ross are included here.
Whilst I would never profess to be a gardener I do appreciate the natural beauty of our land you will therefore find a selection of close up shots of the flowers of Scotland including our national emblem. This selection reflects the natural beauty of Scotland with many of photographs having been taken in the National Trust for Scotland gardens at Inverewe near Poolewe in Wester Ross.
My choice of a selection of Scottish landscapes which I believe illustrate some of the best scenery in the world. Some of the scenes featured here include the Torridon mountain range of Wester Ross, the Earn Valley in Perthshire and Kinnoull Hill near Perth to name but a few.
I started with black and white photography so take your time to enjoy these images in monochrome which are preferred by many. Many featuring some of my favourite people and some with just a little tint! Included here are scenes from Loch Maree, The Minch, The National Trust for Scotland owned Hermitage near Dunkeld and the rivers Tay and Almond
View the power and the beauty of Scotland 's rivers, large and small in many guises. This includes some of the most scenic waterfalls. Here you will find images of the "Silvery Tay" immortalised by William McGonagall. Buchanty Spout on the River Almond where salmon can be seen jumping to negotiate the falls, the dramatic falls at the Hermitage near Dunkeld, Rumbling Bridge and Bruar Falls in Perthshire and man made streams constructed to service Perthshire mills.
To create galleries covering every topic for everything I have photographed or have yet to photograph I felt would be almost an impossible task. So here it is a "catch all" "Bits and Pieces" just as it says a selection of photographs just desperate to get onto the site but otherwise without a home. Featured here is Flowerdale at Gairloch, the ancient seat and stronghold of Clan MacKenzie plus scenes from the National Trust for Scotland owned Hermitage near Dunkeld and Bruar Falls in Perthshire, bridges over the Tay and Isla and Forneth near Blairgowrie.
The "My Travels" gallery has been created to exhibit photographs of some of my favourite places from around the globe. Apart from anything else it will prove to you that I have travelled outside Scotland. Here you will find some well known places alongside those which may be recognised by few. There are definitely no photographs of Scotland here!
"Man Made" recognising that there is beauty and more than a little interestin all things man made this gallery sets out to exhibit some of those images from around Scotland. So let this image of the Red Arrows in action take you there.
"Towns and Cities" images of towns, cities, villages and smaller from all over Scotland. This photograph of the Fair City of Perth featuring the River Tay will take you to this gallery.
"Weddings" we offer a high quality Wedding Photography Service - Based in Perthshire (but more than willing to travel!). We provide bespoke high quality digital photographs capturing images of your special day. For more details click on the link below to take you to our Wedding Photography Gallery.
So, proving that I am a real person here are some photographs of me taken at some of my recent exhibitions
The two below are from an exhibition at the Meffan Gallery, Forfar. Works by other artists and photographers were also on display but have been hidden.
This next one is to show that there was more than a handful on display at any one time!
I personally guarantee that each photograph sold will be part of an exclusive limited edition of no more than 100 prints

I was first inspired to pick up a camera by my father and it is his love and encouragement that has ultimately guided me to where I am today. This site is dedicated to his memory.
